After the government issued a curfew order in Kathmandu Valley to quell the demonstration of Genji, capital market trading has been suspended for Tuesday.
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) issued a public notice and said that Tuesday's business has been suspended. NEPSE has also informed that after the prohibition order was issued in the valley, the securities trading members and investors have requested for the suspension of trading.
The notice issued by NEPSE states, 'Since a curfew order has been issued within the roundabout and many trading members and investors have requested to suspend trading, all securities trading has been suspended today in accordance with Rule 21 (1) of the Listing and Trading Regulations 2075.'
