On the first day of weekly trading, NEPSE fell by 11.52 points on Sunday. After decreasing by 0.42 percent compared to last Thursday, the overall NEPSE closed down at 2,788.25 points.
Out of those that came into trading on that day, the share price of 79 companies increased while 173 companies decreased . In this way, the overall NEPSE has decreased by double digits as the number of companies whose share prices have decreased rather than increased.
On Sunday, 1 crore 11 lakh 24 thousand 845 shares were bought and sold out of 58 thousand 87 transactions. There has been a transaction worth 4 billion 40 million 27 million rupees in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased . Shares worth 5 billion 144 million rupees were traded last Thursday.
Among the 13 sub-groups traded on that day, the indices of finance companies, manufacturing and processing and collective investment funds increased. After the index of all the remaining sub-groups decreased, the overall NEPSE pressured to decrease by double digits .
