Communications and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung has said that the Digital Nepal Framework is in the final stages of implementation. In a program organized on Sunday in Kathmandu on the occasion of Film Development Board's 25th anniversary and Silver Jubilee, Minister Gurung said that the framework will soon be passed by the Council of Ministers and will be implemented.
Minister Gurung also said that fifth generation telecommunication technology (5G) is necessary to speed up the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) and that the 5G test will be started from Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara Valley within the month of January.
