Upendra Yadav, president of Jaspa, Nepal, said that sugarcane farmers are the most neglected. President Yadav, who reached Maitighar Mandal to show solidarity with sugarcane farmers' movement on Thursday, said that the government should give the subsidies to sugarcane farmers immediately.

Yadav alleges that the state has neglected the grain farmers the most in Nepal. He said that among the farmers, the sugarcane farmers are more distressed. He said that by buying the sugarcane produced by the farmers, the mill owners will get rich but the farmers will not get the price in time.
