Nepal Chamber of Commerce has discussed with His Excellency the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Bho Thi Anh Xuan in Kathmandu to bring trade, investment and private sector cooperation between Nepal and Vietnam to a new height.
An important discussion was held on the expansion of business access between the two countries, creation of an investment-friendly environment, promotion of industry and business, and the possibility of mutual cooperation. Vietnam's Vice President Juan said that close coordination between the private sectors of both countries is necessary to facilitate bilateral trade expansion and investment flow between the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Vietnam. Vice President Anh Xuan stressed that the activation of the private sector in both countries is indispensable to strengthen economic relations between Nepal and Vietnam. She suggested to the Chamber representatives to visit Vietnam and cooperate with the Chamber of Vietnam in potential investment areas.
The Chamber of Commerce has emphasized that there is a huge potential for cooperation and partnership between Nepal and Vietnam in fields such as agriculture, tourism, energy, education and information technology, and has emphasized that practical programs should be carried out. The Chamber has expressed its commitment to strengthen economic relations with Vietnam.
Honorary Consul of Vietnam and former President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajesh Kazi Shrestha attended the discussion.
