The Alternative Development Bill was unanimously passed by the House of Representatives

The House of Representatives unanimously passed the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082. In Friday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel proposed that the bill be passed.

Paudel said that Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082 will open another door for large physical infrastructure development in Nepal.

Finance Minister Paudel also said that since the bill addresses the needs of Nepal's development, it has set an example that Parliament can do important work in a short time by passing the bill quickly.

Participating in the discussion on the bill, the MPs of the opposition party also praised the bill as a new concept.

The bill was submitted to the House of Representatives after the discussion in the Finance Committee of the Parliament. The main objective of the bill is to invest in large infrastructure projects that will generate more returns by gathering alternative sources.
