Compared to Wednesday, there has been a general increase in the price of gold and silver in the local market. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, today the price of one tola of gold has been fixed at 194,800 rupees.
The same quantity of silver is being bought and sold at 2002 rupees.
On Wednesday, one tola of gold was bought and sold for one lakh 93 thousand 500 rupees, while the same amount of silver was bought and sold for two thousand 255 rupees.
According to international media, gold is trading at three thousand 338 US dollars per ounce today.
