At a time when the farmers are not getting fertilizer, the fertilizer that came to the Agricultural Material Company Limited has been stored in the warehouse. Fertilizer has been distributed through the cooperative, and the manure has accumulated in the godown after the cooperative did not remove the fertilizer on time.

Farmers need fertilizer as it is the time of paddy harvesting. But the farmers did not get it because the cooperative did not take the fertilizer.

Although some farmers of the municipality connected to the Indian border go to the Indian market and bring fertilizer, most of them are facing shortage. Fertilizer has been distributed through 77 cooperatives in the district. But so far only 34 cooperatives have taken manure. On July 19, 136 tons of agricultural materials that arrived in the warehouse are in the warehouse.

Tara Prasad Khanal, manager of Parasi branch of the agricultural material company, claims that they are distributing fertilizers as recommended by the municipality. He said that since the manure arrived only a week ago, some cooperatives have taken the manure and others have also advanced the process.

Until Monday, only one of the 10 cooperatives of Susta Rural Municipality of the district has taken manure for distribution. 11 out of 20 in Sunwal Municipality, 6 out of 8 in Bardghat Municipality, 8 out of 13 in Sarawal Rural Municipality, 2 out of 4 in Palhinandan Rural Municipality, 2 out of 8 in Pratappur Rural Municipality and 4 out of 16 in Ramgram Municipality have taken manure.  The vice president of Susta Rural Municipality Geeta Choudhary said that fertilizer is not available at the time of

and even if fertilizer is not enough, farmers are facing problems. He said that all cooperatives within the municipality will bring and distribute fertilizer within a day or two, and that the company should provide the necessary fertilizer and agricultural materials to their municipality. Fertilizers are not available on time and even if they do not get enough fertilizers, cooperatives have been reluctant to distribute fertilizers.
