On the last day of weekly trading, the NEPSE index closed with an increase of 18.30 points. After increasing by 0.64 points compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,850.37 points.
On Wednesday, NEPSE decreased by 1.74 points. Along with the index, the transaction amount has also increased compared to the previous day.
Out of the 187 companies that traded on Thursday, the share prices of 62 companies went down. On that day, 2 crore 54 lakh 3 thousand 540 shares were bought and sold in 95 thousand 839 transactions.
In this purchase, shares worth 8 billion 53 crore 75 lakh rupees have been traded. The transaction amount has increased compared to the previous day. On Wednesday, there was a transaction worth 7.63 billion rupees in the stock market.
Among all the sub-groups that traded on that day, the index of all sub-groups increased, contributing to the double-digit growth of the overall NEPSE. Among them, the indices of finance companies, production and processing and other subgroups have increased by more than one percent.
