In the last three trading days, the NEPSE index has decreased by about one and a half hundred points (143 points). The NEPSE, which closed above 3,000 last Tuesday, has fallen to 2,858.90 points by Sunday. This is the situation on July 1.

However, on the first trading day of this week, on Sunday, the NEPSE fell by almost 64 points. NEPSE, which has been falling since last Wednesday, followed the same trend on Sunday as well. Last Wednesday, NEPSE decreased by 47.93 points and on Thursday by 31.50 points. NEPSE decreased by 2.18 percent and went down to 2858.90 points on Sunday.
Out of the 16 companies that traded on that day, the share price of 233 companies decreased. Out of a total of 152 thousand 518 times of buying and selling, a total of 322 million 60 thousand 341 shares were bought and sold. The turnover has decreased compared to last Thursday. Last Thursday, 15.98 billion rupees were traded, and on Sunday, 13.75 billion rupees were traded.
All 13 subgroups that traded on Sunday declined. Among the declining sub-groups were life insurance, non-life insurance, manufacturing and processing, microfinance, development banks and others. Life insurance 297.94, non-life insurance 229.53, production and processing 194.91, microfinance 167.12, development bank decreased by 104.82 points.
Share prices of Trade Tower and Shiv Shree Hydropower rose by 9.99 percent. Share price of Three Star Hydropower increased by 4.55%, Narayani Development Bank by 3.86% and Lumbini Development Bank by 2.50%.
Share price of Sanbhi Energy fell by 9.99 and Samata Domestic Microfinance by 9.96 percent. The share price of Green Ventures decreased by 5.77%, Sikless Hydropower by 5.58% and Unnati Sansahajan Lagufinance by 5.52%.
Based on turnover, Nepal Reinsurance Company, Himalayan Reinsurance, Himalayan Distillery, Shivam Cement and Ngadi Group Power are ahead. Nepal Reinsurance Company's 753.9 million shares, Himalayan Reinsurance's 715.5 million shares, Himalayan Distillery's 588.2 million shares, Shivam Cement's 552.2 million shares and Ngadi Group Power's 42.55 million shares have been bought and sold.
The size of the stock market (total market capitalization) has decreased by 1 trillion 4 billion 900 million 79 million rupees due to the decline of NEPSE.
