Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and Sri Lankan Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (SLCSMI) have signed a strategic partnership agreement for the promotion of small and medium enterprises, trade and investment enhancement in coordination with the Nepali Embassy in Sri Lanka.

Nepali Ambassador to Sri Lanka Dr. In the presence of Purna Bahadur Nepali, President Kamlesh Kumar Agarwal on behalf of NCC and President Rohan D Silva on behalf of SLCSMI signed the agreement.

It has been mentioned in the statement issued by the Chamber that an agreement has been reached between the two organizations on the promotion of small and medium enterprises, bilateral trade and investment opportunities and trade facilitation between the private sector of Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Small and medium enterprises practices in each other's countries, policy arrangements, capacity building programs,  An agreement has been signed on cooperation in matters such as training, workshops and seminars.  It is said that there will be cooperation in matters such as bilateral meetings between chamber representatives of both countries, bilateral investment in small and medium enterprises. 

It is mentioned in the agreement that Nepal Chamber of Commerce NCC and SLCSMI will coordinate the products produced by small and medium entrepreneurs in each other's countries and increase trade. 

The chamber has said that joint research and research will be done regarding bilateral trade facilitation, technology transfer, small and medium industries.

In a statement released by the Chamber, it has been stated that there is a strategic partnership agreement between the Chambers of the two countries to promote small and medium enterprises, especially in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
