On the last day of weekly trading, the NEPSE index fell by 31.50 points. After decreasing by 1.06 points compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,922.63 points.

Out of the 52 companies that traded on that day, 198 of them fell as their share prices increased.

On Thursday, 3 crore 68 lakh 71 thousand 244 shares were bought and sold in a transaction of 168 thousand 594 times. Shares worth 15 billion 98 million 89 million rupees were traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased. Shares worth 16.44 billion rupees were traded on Wednesday.

Out of the 13 sub-groups that came into business that day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 31 points after the index of all except the finance company decreased. On that day, the index of finance subgroup increased by 1.18 percent.
