Two programs related to South Asian investment and youth leadership have started from Thursday with the aim of promoting South Asian investment and youth leadership in the Nepali market.

JCI Nepal organizes two major programs namely 'JCI South Asia Business and Investment Meet' and 'South Asian Academy for International Leadership' from July 16 to 19 at Hotel Loft in Thamel.

More than 48 young entrepreneurs, investors and leaders from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are participating in this program. National President of JCI Nepal Rajni Thapa has informed that they have already arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The aim of this program is to promote business, investment, leadership development and tourism. Thapa said that other countries also expressed their desire for this event, which was organized by JCI for the first time, and later Bangladesh and others voted in favor of Nepal.

It is expected that this platform will give the startups and young entrepreneurs of Nepal an opportunity to bring in international markets and investments. The organizer has informed that the investment conference to be held under the auspices of 'JCI in Business' will include sessions where Nepalese entrepreneurs pitch ideas to investors, regional discussions and startup exhibition programs. "We are starting a common journey of South Asian partnership and youth leadership," said Thapa.

Under the four-day South Asian Academy for International Leadership (SAIL) program, sessions based on leadership development workshops, policy making, entrepreneurship and world leadership perspectives are being organized.

In addition, it has been informed that foreign guests will be given a cultural tour of Lumbini, Pokhara, Bhaktapur and other areas. JCI Asia Pacific Vice President Mark Joseph David, Vice President Hiroki Tomori, regional senators, international officials, young entrepreneurs and philanthropists will be present at the event.
