NEPSE rose above three thousand, a new record in capitalization

After NEPSE crossed 3,000 points on Tuesday, new hope has arisen among investors, share prices of 176 companies increased.

NEPSE rose above three thousand, a new record in capitalization

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, rose by 30.76 points on Tuesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE increased by one point zero 3 percent to 3 thousand 2.07 points. This is the highest since almost a year (31 July 2081). Earlier on 081 July 31, NEPSE reached 3 thousand 81 points.

Since then, NEPSE could not cross three thousand points. Last Sunday at 12:51 PM, NEPSE reached 3 thousand 13 points. After that, this growth did not last long. Finally, it closed down at 2964.20 points. NEPSE, which decreased by 18.44 points on Sunday, increased by 7 points on Monday. 

Thus, in the last few days, during the trading period, Nepse reached above 3000 points, but at the end, it was closed below this point. Therefore, stock analysts were analyzing that NEPSE could not overcome the resistance of 3,000 points. Although on Tuesday, NEPSE closed by only 2 points, rising above 3000. Investors have now analyzed it as the market has crossed the resistance of 3,000. 

According to NEPSE, on Tuesday, the share price of 176 companies increased while the price of 74 companies decreased. Shares worth 18 billion 52 crore 93 lakh rupees have been traded from a total of 1 lakh 57 thousand 525 times of buying and selling. Compared to Monday, the turnover on Tuesday has decreased. Shares worth 19 billion 36 crore rupees were traded on Monday. 

A total of 4 crore 18 lakh 8 thousand 966 shares were bought and sold according to NEPSE. Development banks, finance and trade subgroups have declined. Development Bank 23.79, Finance 3.32 and Business decreased by 11.36 points. All other subgroups have increased. Among the growing subgroups were non-life insurance, microfinance, life insurance, hydropower, hotel and tourism, hydropower, banking and other subgroups. 

Life Insurance 150.18, Microfinance 94.78, Life Insurance 112.60, Hydropower 17.26, Hotel and Tourism 23.51, Banking 20.40 points increased. After the share price of Muktinath Agricultural Company, Trade Tower and Sanbhi Energy increased by 10 percent, the circuit broke. Share price of Nadep Microfinance increased by 9.99% and Nepal Wirehousing Company by 8.06%. The share price of Samata Home Finance has decreased by 8.60%, Vindabasini Hydropower by 2.93%, Unnati Sanjakari Microfinance by 2.73%, Shwet Ganga Hydropower by 2.64% and Mandakini Hydropower by 2.48%. 

Based on turnover, Himalayan Distillery, Green Ventures, Nepal Reinsurance Company, Himalayan Reinsurance and Radhi Electricity Company were ahead. Shares of Himalayan Distillery worth Rs 644.1 million, Green Ventures Rs 638.2 million, Nepal Reinsurance Company Rs 567 million, Himalayan Reinsurance Rs 5277 million and Radhi Electricity Company Rs 4977 million have been traded. 

The increase in NEPSE has increased the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) by 51 billion 335 million rupees. The total market capitalization of 49 trillion 58 billion 1285 million rupees on Monday has been maintained at 50 trillion 9 billion 46 billion 45 million rupees on Tuesday. This is the highest ever. Total market capitalization has been setting new records since last few days. 

Total market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the total number of listed shares by the share price on the same day. On this 5th of July, the capitalization set a new record of Rs. Earlier, on 3 February 2081, the size of the stock market reached 47 trillion 99 billion rupees.
