35 new vehicles will be launched at the 'Naima Nepal Mobility Expo' of Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA). Organizers have informed that more than 50 automobile brands will participate in the expo to be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from July 21 to 25.

In a press conference held at Solti Hotel on Monday, Naima Executive Director Rajkumar Dulal said that all the preparations for the expo have been completed. In the program, Auto Expo Committee Chief Shirish Kumar Murarka informed that the physical infrastructure of the Expo will be accessible to all and disabled friendly.  15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers and 5 commercial vehicles will be unveiled at the

exhibition. Gaurav Sarada, a member of the Auto Expo Committee, said that the latest mobility solutions from electric vehicles will be presented at the exhibition. Aiming at the exhibition, Naima has also launched a special online video competition. In the competition, 100,000 prizes will be awarded to the best videos uploaded on social media till 21st July, while 10,000 prizes will be awarded to the 10 best videos uploaded between 21st and 25th July. 

A panel discussion will be organized in which various national and international experts will participate in the five-day exhibition. Banker Anilkeshari Shah will conduct a session on 'Mobility yesterday, today and tomorrow'. Other sessions will be attended by experts from Ministry of Education, National Planning Commission, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University and Road Traffic Education Institute of India. Entry tickets to the

expo will be available through Kalti by IME. Organizers have informed that 5 percent of the sold tickets will be used for scholarships and fellowships on mobility issues in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council.  Everest Bank and National Insurance Company, the main sponsors of the

exhibition, have expressed their commitment to cooperate in the development of a technology-friendly and sustainable transport system. Ride partner Pathao has said that it will give 30 percent discount for passengers bound for Bhrikutimandap. Naima President Ritu Singh Vaidya expressed confidence that Mobility Expo will become the largest and most influential automobile exhibition in Nepal.
