Hitendradev Shakya, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, has reached Bharatpur to understand the power supply problem. On Monday, a team including the Authority's Executive Director Shakya and Deputy Executive Director of the Directorate of Distribution and Customer Service, Galgayukumar Shrestha, reached Chitwan.

Chitwan-based Chanauli Distribution Center had published a load management schedule for one day of urgent maintenance to manage the internal load.  According to the authority, confusion has arisen among consumers.

'In order to solve the problem created due to excessive load in the said area, the repair and construction work being done on electrical structures from distribution centers including substation located in Bharatpur will be inspected,' the statement issued by the authority states.
