Prakashchandra Bhandari, head of planning of the Mugling-Pokhara road eastern section, says that a big four-lane bridge is being built over the Madi river in the Mugling-Pokhara road eastern section for the first time in Nepal. According to him, the length of that bridge is 318 meters.

'It is the first bridge in Nepal to be crossed by four-lane vehicles. After the Nepal government designed the bridge, the builders designed it again. The entire responsibility of the design rests with the construction company. Maintenance period is 5 years. Its contract amount is 1.21 billion. 71 percent of the financial progress of the bridge has been made,'  He said. According to Chief Bhandari, a Nepali contractor is designing and building a four-lane bridge for the first time. An agreement was made to build this bridge on 7 September 2022. 

On September 6, 2025, the bridge construction time is ending. Design approved 13 months after contract  And Bhandari said that 71 percent of the financial progress is positive today.  He said that the bridge will be completely completed by next November-January. . The work of this bridge is being done by the Nepali Construction Company NK Construction Services.
