NEPSE returned to close to 3000, the growth rate decreased as investors secured profits

NEPSE returned to close to 3000, the growth rate decreased as investors secured profits

The NEPSE, which has increased continuously for the previous 6 days, has only improved by 5.17 points on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the NEPSE did not rise by a high number after investors sought to secure profits in the market which had risen continuously for the previous 6 days. Instead, NEPSE declined for most of the trading period.

After the buying pressure of some companies increased in the last time, the overall NEPSE improved by 5.17 points. Along with this, the overall NEPSE has reached 2 thousand 978.88 points and closed. As the stock market rose in the previous 6 trading days, the overall NEPSE increased by about 248 points. Investors say that the selling pressure in the market has increased throughout the day after investors started selling shares to secure profits in this increased market. 

'Even though NEPSE increased for a short period of time, the market kept going down for most of the time. During that period, there was a pressure to sell shares," said an investor, "At the end of the business period, there was a sudden buying pressure in the shares of some companies. Thus, a sudden buying pressure may mean that the demand is increased artificially rather than naturally. This is the reason why NEPSE increased by 18 points in the last 15 minutes.'

NEPSE has come back close to 3000 points throughout the trading period. At around 11.32 pm, NEPSE reached 2 thousand 991.72 points. 

Out of 98 companies that traded on that day, 152 companies decreased while their share prices increased. 4 crore 48 lakh 66 thousand 159 shares were bought and sold in 170 thousand 318 transactions. Shares worth 19 billion 57 crore 52 lakh rupees have been traded from those purchases. The transaction amount has decreased compared to the previous day. 

On Tuesday, 43.5 million 81 thousand 228 shares were traded in a total of 177 thousand 101 transactions. Shares worth 20 billion 853 million rupees were traded from those purchases. Out of all the 13 sub-groups traded on that day, indices of banking, development bank, hotel and tourism, life insurance, non-life insurance and microfinance declined. The overall NEPSE increased by 5 points after the index of the remaining sub-groups increased.

Share prices of Trade Tower and Sanvi Energy increased by 9.99 percent in the trading on Wednesday. Green Ventures, Liberty Energy and Best Finance also followed Trade Tower and Sanvi Energy. The shareholders of 98 companies including these have earned profits. 

But on that day, 152 shareholders of the company lost. The top five companies that lost the most were Geo Energy, Green Development Bank, Abhiyaan Laguvitta, RSDC Laguvitta and Maikhola Jalvidyut, respectively. Himalayan Reinsurance, Shivam Cement, Nepal Infrastructures Bank, Butwal Power Company and Nepal Reinsurance Company are in the forefront of the companies that have a lot of transactions.

The size of the stock market on Wednesday (the total market capitalization has remained at 49 trillion 70 billion. Compared to the previous day, it has increased by only 8 billion rupees on Wednesday.
