UPVC window-door industry Panchkanya Dimex has come into operation in Siyari rural municipality-2 Bhagdari of Rupandehi with an investment of 800 crores. The industry, which has been selling its products informally for a year, has announced its four brands on Monday. The industry has released Panchkanya Dimex, Neoplast, Tonys UPVC and Sal brand products.

65 people are currently employed in the industry. The industry claims that its products are durable, waterproof, fire resistant, low maintenance, non-expanding, soundproof, customizable, reusable, easy to clean and eco-friendly.
'For the first time, we are producing UPVC profiles in four laminated colors,' President Shrestha said, 'After this facility, consumers can prepare windows and doors according to the color of their choice.' "We have used galvanized iron inside the profile of UPVC to strengthen the windows and doors," he said, "there is no problem of frame breaking or crushing."

Five of these machines manufacture white UPVC profiles (frames) while one machine manufactures laminated profiles. The industry is producing using technology from various European countries along with Germany. "We have prepared world-class quality, our products are lead-free," said Chairman Shrestha. The industry has also prepared UPVC panels for office partitions.
At present, 13 thousand metric tons of UPVC profile windows and doors are being consumed across the country, he said. More than 85 percent of the consumption is imported from China and India. "Seeing the demand in the country, we have operated a modern industry with huge investment," he said. Ritesh Silwal, the managing director of the industry, informed that the products are being delivered to the market in premium, medium and economic series without financial burden on the customers.
According to him, marketing work has been completed in all seven provinces. The industry has trained 259 masons so that no complaints are heard while using their products. "If the connection is not good, there may be a problem with windows and doors," said Silwal, "so the industry is preparing masons by training them for effective fitting."
There are currently 8 UPVC industries across the country. The number of masons who make windows and doors is around 800. Recently, the use of UPVC windows and doors has increased. "However, the use has not increased as expected," Silwal, the managing director of the industry, said, "it is necessary to spread awareness to increase the use."
