On Wednesday, NEPSE, which had increased by high points for the previous 6 days, improved only by 5.17 points. The NEPSE did not increase by high points today after the investors sought to secure profits in the market which had been rising continuously for the previous 6 days.
Instead, the NEPSE declined for most of the trading period. In the last time, the overall NEPSE improved by 5.17 points after the buying pressure of some companies increased. With this, the overall NEPSE has reached 2,978.88 points. Out of those that came into trading today, the share price of 98 companies increased and 152 companies decreased.
4 crore 48 lakh 66 thousand 159 shares were bought and sold in 1 lakh 70 thousand 318 transactions. Shares worth 19 billion 57 crore 52 lakh rupees have been traded from those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased . On Tuesday, NEPSE increased by 20 billion.
Among all the 13 subgroups that came into business that day, the index of banking, development bank, hotel and tourism, life insurance, non-life insurance and microfinance decreased. The overall NEPSE increased by 5 points after the index of the rest of the subgroups increased.
