82 MW of Lower Solu Hydroelectric Project in Solukhumbu is connected to the National Transmission Line. The electricity produced by the project is connected to the 132 kV transmission line of the Solu Corridor in Lammane. Electricity generation started last Sunday and it has been connected to the national transmission line for testing.

This project was started in 2017. The dam site of the project is located at Salme, which is on the border of Solududhkunda Municipality-11 Tingla and 7 Garma.

At the powerhouse at Tingla Bhadaure, 6.2 km below Salme, electricity is generated by pumping water through a tunnel. The project has extended 4.2 kilometers of tunnel and 2 kilometers of underground pipelines and dropped the water of Solukhola in Bhadaure.

Project assistant manager Krishna Chaudhary said that the project, which was completed with the investment of about 17 billion loan from FMO Bank of the Netherlands, will generate 82 megawatts of electricity in the rainy season and 20 to 22 megawatts in the winter.
