In the financial year 2081/82, goods worth 18 trillion 4 billion 12 million rupees have been imported. According to the data of the customs department, goods worth 2.77 billion 30 million rupees were exported during the same period.
In the financial year 080/081, goods worth 15 billion 92 billion 98 million rupees were imported. During the same period, goods worth 1 trillion 52 billion 38 million rupees were exported, the department said.
Compared to the previous fiscal year, imports have increased by 13.25 percent and exports by 81.80 percent. In the last financial year, the revenue of 4 billion 77 billion 998 million rupees has been raised due to the import of goods from various countries.
