NEPSE returned after reaching 2900 points, turnover of 21 and a half billion rupees

Investors' attraction in life insurance, non-life insurance, hotels and tourism, 144 companies' prices fell even as NEPSE increased by 0.32 points.

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, increased by 0.32 points on Sunday. The NEPSE point has risen to 2,870.95 points. On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index returned to 2900 points.

At 1:55 on Sunday, the NEPSE reached 2922.31 points, but it was limited to 2870.95 points at the time of closing. 

From this, the share price of 106 companies increased while the price of 144 companies decreased. 5 crore 16 lakh 58 thousand 385 shares have been bought and sold out of a total of 1 lakh 78 thousand 176 times of buying and selling. Shares traded at the highest level in almost a year. Shares worth 21 billion 46 crore 49 lakh 94 thousand rupees were traded in one day on Sunday. This is the highest transaction amount since August 2, 2081. Earlier, the stock market was worth 28 billion 83 crore 69 lakh rupees. 

Investors' attraction remained in life insurance and non-life insurance. According to NEPSE, life insurance subgroup increased by 192.20, non-life insurance by 179.55, hotel and tourism by 88.5, other by 83.21 and collective investment fund increased by 0.05 points while all other subgroups decreased. Production and processing decreased the most by 85.51 points, finance by 59.85 points, trade by 21.42 points, banking by 21.41 points, and hydropower by 15.85 points.

A positive circuit broke after the share price of Unnati Sanghar Lagufinance and Sanbhi Energy increased by 10 percent. Shares of Trade Tower rose by 9.98%, Shiv Shree Hydropower by 9.98% and Bindabasini Hydropower Development Company by 9.95%. Investors in these companies increased the value of their assets (shares). 8.88 of Samriddhi Finance Company, 7.75 of Goodwill Finance Debenture (2083), 5.86 of Sunrise Bank Debenture (2083), 4.61 of Dordi Khola Jalvidyut Company and 4.51 percent of Panchkanya Mai Hydropower. 

The increase in NEPSE has increased the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) by 7 billion 297 million rupees. The total market capitalization, which was 47 trillion 83 billion 376 million rupees last Thursday, has remained at 47 trillion 90 billion 673 million rupees on Sunday. Total market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the total listed shares by the same day's share price.
