NEPSE increased by 21.76 points, buying and selling shares worth 16 billion

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, rose by 21.76 points to 2,892.72 points on Monday. This is an increase of 0.75 percent compared to the previous day.

Out of the 153 companies that traded on that day, the share prices of 96 companies went down. 3 crore 56 lakh 49 thousand 211 shares were bought and sold in 1 lakh 38 thousand 828 transactions. Shares worth 16 billion 327 million rupees have been traded from those purchases.

The transaction amount has decreased compared to the previous day. Although NEPSE was generally positive on Sunday, 21.5 billion shares were traded. The index of all the 13 sub-groups that came into trading that day increased, which helped the growth of the overall NEPSE.
