The performance evaluation of Nepal Electricity Authority employees will now be done electronically. Arrangements have been made to fill, evaluate and manage forms by employees through the electronic system.
In addition, the statement issued by the authority mentions that the records will be kept through a digital system so that they remain safe and confidential.
It is said that this arrangement has been made according to sub-regulation 29 of regulation 59 of Electricity Authority Staff Service, Terms and Conditions, 2075. "Perhaps the authority has implemented the process of filling, evaluating and managing the performance evaluation form of employees through electronic means for the first time in Nepal's civil service and public institutions," the statement said.
The authority has said that this process has been implemented since July 1. The authority claims that the performance evaluation of employees will be regular, fair, simple, economical, confidential, safe and reliable.
