On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, NEPSE increased by 34.46 points. NEPSE increased by 1.26 percent to 2760.17 points. NEPSE increased by 29 points on Sunday and decreased by 35.09 points on Monday. On Tuesday, the share price of 39 companies decreased.
Last Friday, Nepal Rastra Bank increased the personal share mortgage loan limit in the monetary policy of the next financial year. This was expected to bring great excitement to the stock market. But that kind of enthusiasm was not seen in the market.
On the first trading day after the release of the monetary policy for the next fiscal year, the NEPSE index rose by 29 points, but the brokers analyzed it as a 'closing effect' when it fell on the second day.
On Tuesday, a total of 209 companies' share prices increased. A total of 74 thousand 57 shares were bought and sold worth 9 billion 41 crore 91 lakh rupees. According to the data of NEPSE, the turnover increased compared to Monday but decreased compared to Sunday. On Sunday, 11 billion 41 billion rupees were traded, on Monday it was 8 billion 17 billion rupees.
A total of 2 crore 65 lakh 17 thousand 209 shares were bought and sold on Tuesday. While mutual funds remained stable, all other sub-groups rose. Non-life insurance group 95.54, life insurance 90.01, development bank 69.43, hotel and tourism 64.14, hydropower 60.73 and manufacturing and processing group increased by 63.43 points.
Super Madi Hydropower rose by 8.08, Rapti Hydro & General by 5.86, Vindabasini Hydropower by 5.71, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals by 5.43 and KBL Debenture 2090 (10 per cent) by 5.27 per cent. The property value of the investors of these companies increased on Tuesday. Shares of Bhagwati Hydropower fell by 4.64%, Global IME Debenture by 3.83%, Shubham Power by 3.33%, Chirkhwa Hydropower by 3.26% and Saptakoshi Development Bank by 2.82%.
Butwal Power Company, Nifra Green Energy Debenture (2088/89), Radhi Vidyut, NIC Asia Bank, NRN Infrastructure and Development were ahead in terms of transaction amount. Shares of Butwal Power Company 52332 million, Nifra Green Energy Debenture (2088/89) 5051 million, Radhi Electricity Company 4397 million, NIC Asia Bank 3031 million and NRN Infrastructure and Development 308 million have been traded.
The increase in NEPSE has increased the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) by 57 billion 42 crore 73 lakh rupees. The total market capitalization which was Rs 45 trillion 41 billion 88 crore on Monday has remained at Rs 45 trillion 99 billion 31 crore on Tuesday.
The total market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the total listed shares by the same day's share price. Increase in capitalization means higher market value of listed shares. On this basis, when the capitalization increases, it is analyzed as the value of the investor's property increases.
