The Ministry of Finance has instructed that all types of payments made by public bodies must be made through electronic system.

The Ministry of Finance issued a circular on Sunday and instructed all ministries, Nepal Rastra Bank, public institutions, boards, committees and institutions to make arrangements for all types of payments from public bodies to be made through electronic systems from July 1. 

"The government of Nepal through the budget of the financial year 2082/83 has made a policy arrangement to connect all types of payments made by public bodies to the electronic system," the circular says, "According to the said policy, all types of payments made from July 1, 2082 are requested to be compulsorily made through the electronic system." As mentioned in the budget statement of the financial year 2082/83, the Ministry of Finance has issued the circular.
