The government has formed a committee to investigate Sharad Ojha, chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority. A three-member committee was formed by the cabinet meeting held on Monday to investigate the qualifications of President Ojha.

A minister informed that an inquiry committee has been formed under the chairmanship of former high court judge Krishna Giri. Insurance expert Kapil Oli and an economist are in the said committee.

The government appointed Ojha as the chairman of the Insurance Authority on February 12. The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission is also investigating the documents submitted by him to become president. 'This committee has also been given a mandate to investigate his qualifications and working style,' said a minister.
