Life insurance fell the most last week by 1.80 percent. Hydropower 1.18%, non-life insurance 1.03%, development bank 0.49% and business decreased by 0.19%. The finance group remained stable last week.

Experts say that the stock market-friendly monetary policy introduced by Nepal Rastra Bank on Friday will have a positive effect on the market. Rastra Bank has increased the personal share mortgage loan limit from Rs 15 crore to Rs 25 crore through monetary policy. As investors have been demanding to remove the personal share mortgage loan limit, the National Bank has increased it.
