The Ministry of Finance has instructed that all types of payments made by public bodies must be made through the electronic system.
The Ministry of Finance issued a circular on Sunday and instructed all ministries, Nepal Rastra Bank, public institutions, boards, committees and institutions to make arrangements for all types of payments made by public bodies to be made through the electronic system compulsorily from 1st July.
"The government of Nepal has made a policy to connect all types of payments made by public bodies to the electronic system through the budget of the fiscal year 2082 (83)," the circular said, "according to the said policy, it is requested to arrange that all types of payments made from the 1st of July 082 must be made through the electronic system."
