Nepal Rastra Bank has said that crop production will increase every year. Rashtra Bank has estimated that the arrival of monsoon on time this year will have a positive impact on the production of annual crops including rice.

"Government has provided subsidies for advanced seeds, provided chemical fertilizers and set low support prices before the cultivation of rice, corn, wheat, sugarcane and coffee," stated the monetary policy of the fiscal year 2082/83 released by Governor Vishwanath Paudel on Friday.
