NEPSE, which has increased for 6 consecutive trading days, decreased by 22.35 points on Monday. NEPSE increased by 0.82 percent and dropped to 2,684.01 points. The NEPSE, which has been continuously increasing since June 15, decreased on Monday.

On May 7, NEPSE closed at 766.04 points. Since then it had come down to 2595.97 points on June 8. On June 19 and June 22, Nepse, which rose to 2700 points, has come down again to 2600 points.

The value of 39 companies increased while the value of 209 companies decreased. According to NEPSE, 71 thousand 313 shares have been traded worth 8.37 billion rupees. Compared to Sunday, the turnover on Monday has also decreased. Shares worth 9.5 billion rupees were traded on Sunday. A total of 1 crore 94 lakh 15 thousand 688 shares have been bought and sold.

On Monday, only the hotel and tourism and collective investment fund subgroups rose. The remaining all subgroups decreased. Hotel and tourism has increased by 41.80 points. According to NEPSE, finance decreased by 3.76 percent, trade by 1.25 percent, manufacturing and processing by 1.24 percent.

Upper Mailungkhola 6.56, Corporate Development Bank 6.28, Bhagwati Hydropower Development Company 4.06, Sindhu Development Bank 3.74 and Crest Micro Life Insurance increased by 3.59 percent. The value of these companies' assets increased. The share price of Rapti Hydro and General Construction fell by 10 percent and caused a circuit break. The share price of Goodwill Finance Limited Debenture (2083) decreased by 9.66%, Green Development Bank 9.49%, Nepal Finance 5.39% and Samriddhi Finance Company 4.59%. 

Based on the transaction amount, shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company 807 million, Guardian Micro Life Insurance 4171 million, NRN Infrastructure and Development 2417 million, Sahs Urja 20445 million and Ngadi Group Power 19 million 93 million have been traded. 

Prabhu Select Fund has the highest number of shares traded. According to NEPSE, 21 lakh 19 thousand 817 shares of Prabhu Select Fund have been bought and sold. 7 lakh 22 thousand 140 shares of Prabhu Smart Fund, 6 lakh 11 thousand 131 shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company, 5 lakh 24 thousand 633 shares of Ngadi Group Power and 4 lakh 11 thousand 469 shares of Varun Hydropower were bought and sold. 

On Monday, the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) decreased by 37 billion 245 million rupees due to the decline of NEPSE. The total market capitalization, which was 45 trillion 9 billion 1936 million rupees on Sunday, decreased to 44 trillion 71 billion 94 million rupees on Monday. Total market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the total listed shares by the same day's share price. Increase in capitalization means increase in market value of listed shares. On this basis, when the capitalization increases, it is analyzed as the value of the investor's property increases.
