Nepal Telecom, the government-owned telecommunication service provider, has informed that there is a problem with the internet service. The statement said that the problem started on Tuesday at 1:30 am.
Nepal Telecom has been serving customers by purchasing internet from international service providers. According to Telecom, this interruption was caused by a problem in the network of one of the service providers. According to the
company, all internet traffic has been diverted from an alternative service provider after a problem in the international network. Due to this, the pressure on the alternative link has increased and some problems have arisen in the speed of Nepal Telecom's internet service, it is mentioned in the statement.
Company has stated that immediate efforts are being made to resolve the problem and restore the service .
