A total of 87 thousand 398 shares have been traded worth 9 billion 50 million rupees. According to NEPSE, a total of 2 crore 71 lakh 32 thousand 308 shares were bought and sold. Out of the total 13 sub-groups, only banking, finance, investment, manufacturing and processing, collective investment fund, other and business sub-groups increased while the remaining sub-groups decreased. Among the sub-groups with
growth, the highest increase was other 70.86, investment 62.10, trade 36.72 and manufacturing and processing 45.67 points. Among the declining sub-groups were life insurance, non-life insurance, hydropower, development banks, hotels and tourism. Life Insurance declined by 176.71 points and Bikas Bank by 87.42 points.
The share price of Nepal Finance Company increased by 10 percent and caused a circuit break. Guardian Micro Life Insurance rose by 7.36%, Rapti Hydro & General Construction by 5.70%, Upper Hewa Khola by 5.18% and Janaki Finance Company by 4.91%. The share price of Goodwill Finance Debenture (2083) decreased by 8.87%, Green Development Bank 8.58%, Sindhu Bikas Bank 5.81%, Khanikhola Hydropower 5.43% and Garima Samriddhi Yojana 4.35%.
Nepal Reinsurance Company, Lakshmi Sunrise Bank Founder Share, Himalayan Reinsurance, Guardian Micro Life Insurance and NRN Infrastructure and Development were the top players in terms of turnover.
Nepal Reinsurance Company 494 million, Lakshmi Sunrise Bank Founder Share 3781 million, Himalayan Reinsurance 340 million, Guardian Micro Life Insurance 3289 million and NRN Infrastructure and Development 2884 million shares. On Sunday, the highest amount of shares of hydropower was traded worth 3.3 billion 10 million rupees.
