On Tuesday, the government honored the workers who returned from foreign employment and made an exemplary contribution by doing business in the country with the 'National Entrepreneur Award'.

Prioritizing reintegration under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, seven labor entrepreneurs from all seven provinces were awarded the National Entrepreneur Award and one was awarded the Best Award.

Ravin Pokhrel of Bhoom skill training center in Damak, Jhapa was awarded the best entrepreneur award. He was honored with one lakh 50 thousand in cash, a certificate and a medal.

The National Entrepreneur Award winners are Urlabari from Koshi, Rajeev Khadka of Aama Agricultural Firm from Morang, Jitpur from Madhesh, Shankar Simkhada from Nimto Agro Farm from Bara, Kumar Shrestha from Baiteshwar Rent and Catering Service from Bagmati, Basant Bahadur Khadka from Vasant Poultry Firm from Tanahun from Gandaki, New Sandhya Hotel and Arghakhanchi from Lumbini. Showakhar Paudel of Restaurant and Sasubuhari Agricultural Firm, Laxmi Prasad Dhakal of Deuti Hojiari Industry and Trading Center located in Surkhet from Karnali and Tarkasingh Bista of Kailpal Multipurpose Agricultural Firm located in Baitadi from Sudurpaschim. The

ministry awarded seven people one by one with 75,000 rupees in cash, certificates and medals. The chief guest of the

program, Labor Minister Sharatsingh Bhandari, said that while developing the culture of respect for labor, workers who have returned from abroad should be encouraged to contribute to national prosperity. Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar said that going abroad should not be considered as a 'brain drain' but as a means of creating opportunities at home by bringing back knowledge, skills and capital. According to the ministry, during the selection of the

award, 7 evaluation indicators of job creation, capital investment, use of local resources, export capacity, social responsibility, environment-friendly technology and geographical inclusion of people who have returned from abroad and run the business are based.
