The Morang Industry Association has suggested to the Rashtra Bank to increase the credit limit for small and medium enterprises from share mortgage loan, real estate valuation loan limit, transfer fee for digital transactions. The Association has suggested to develop the industry, trade and overall economic sector by including these topics in the monetary policy of the next fiscal year 2082/83.

It is indispensable to develop inclusively the capital market, which is a sustainable basis for economic growth. For that, in the case of individual and family investors, the current share mortgage loan limit should be increased from 150 million to 300 million,' said the statement issued by the president of the association, Anupam Rathi, 'in the case of real estate real estate, the provision of lending only 50 percent of the valuation should be increased to 70 percent to encourage real estate transactions.

The association also suggests making an easy system in which immigrants can invest in the Nepali capital market in a controlled and direct manner. As there is enough liquidity in the bank, the union insists on increasing productivity by flowing it into the productive sector. "The working capital credit limit of 40 percent of the fixed turnover for manufacturing industries should be maintained at 60 percent," the suggestion given by the union said.

In the case of small and medium industries/businesses, the loan limit of 2 crores has also been asked to be maintained at 5 to 100 crores. The association also suggests that the interest rate of fixed capital loan should be made lower than the interest rate of current capital loan set for the industry, and to facilitate access to bank loans for start-up businesses.

It is also suggested to make the foreign exchange reserves operational by opening the import of food items which were banned in the past. It has also been asked to categorize the amount as the transfer fee charged in digital transactions is high. "Free of charge up to 1000 rupees, 10 rupees between 1 thousand 1 to 1 lakh rupees and 20 rupees for more than 1 lakh," said the suggestion.
