In 11 months of the last financial year, goods worth 14 trillion 53 billion 70 million 41 lakh rupees were imported.
According to the data of the customs department, goods worth 1 trillion 39 billion 26 billion 23 million rupees were exported in the last financial year. In the same period of the current financial year, goods worth 2 billion 47 billion 572 million rupees have been exported. According to the department, exports are 77.77 percent higher than last financial year.
Diesel, soybean crude oil, petrol, cooking gas etc. have been imported the most. In 11 months, diesel alone has been imported worth 1 trillion 15 billion 55 million rupees. The import of raw soybean oil is 95 billion 72 billion 61 million rupees, petrol 58 billion 589 million rupees, cooking gas 57 billion 36 million 77 million rupees.
Exports include refined soybean oil, sunflower seeds and oil, carpets and cardamom. 93 billion 51 billion 71 million of processed soybean oil, 11 billion 33 billion 89 million of sunflower seeds and oil, 9 billion 78 billion 10 million of carpets and 7 million of cardamom have been exported.
