The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 1.07 points on Wednesday. After decreasing by 0.04 percent compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,653.68 points.

The NEPSE, which increased by normal points on Sunday and Monday, decreased by a small point on Tuesday . On Wednesday, NEPSE also followed the trend of Tuesday .

The share price of 88 companies that came into trading on that day increased while 159 decreased and the share price of one company remained stable.  

On Wednesday, 2 crore 34 lakh 46 thousand 949 shares were bought and sold in 78 thousand 13 share transactions. Shares worth 9 billion 858 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. The transaction amount has increased compared to the previous day . Shares worth 7 billion 65 crore 62 lakh rupees were traded on Tuesday.

Among the 13 subgroups traded on Wednesday, indices of hydropower, life insurance, production and processing, collective investment funds and others increased . Although the index of the remaining 8 subgroups decreased, the overall NEPSE was negative by a small number.
