NEPSE, which fell by 23 points after falling continuously on the previous two trading days, closed with a positive result on Sunday. The stock market was very volatile throughout the trading period on that day. At 12:55 in the afternoon, NEPSE fell to 2,653.54 points.
After that, with some improvements, NEPSE reached around 2,664. But that growth did not last long. The market closed with a minor (0.47 points) improvement in Nepse. Development bank, hydropower, manufacturing and processing, non-life insurance and business sub-sectors contributed to NEPSE growth on Sunday. Out of the 13 sub-groups that came in the
transaction, the share price of the mentioned ones increased while the rest decreased. But since the index of the sub-group which increases rather than decreases, NEPSE also became positive at the same rate. Sunday's NEPSE is 0.01 percent higher than last Thursday. According to this, NEPSE has reached 2 thousand 655.75 points and closed. The NEPSE, which had fallen continuously on the previous two trading days, closed with a slight improvement on Sunday.
Out of the 90 companies that came into trading on Sunday, the share price increased while 157 decreased. On this day, 2 crore 53 lakh 93 thousand 762 shares were bought and sold in 95 thousand 374 share transactions. Shares worth 11.44 billion 32 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the turnover increased and decreased. Last Thursday there was a transaction worth 12 billion 51 crore 53 lakh rupees.
Among the 13 sub-groups that came into trading on Sunday, indices of development banks, hydropower, manufacturing and processing, non-life insurance and trade rose. The index for the rest of the subgroups fell on the day. On Sunday, Green Development Bank, Poor Energy, Chyadi Jalvidyut, Varun Jalvidyut, Union Hydropower were the top earning companies respectively. While the investors of the mentioned five companies earned more, the investors of Nepal Hydro Developer, Madhyasolu Hydropower, Kumari Sabal Yojana, Dolti Power Company and Gurans Microfinance Institution lost more.
Sanimamai Hydropower, Nyagdi Group Power, Butwal Power Company, Reddy Electricity Company and Mountain Energy Nepal were the top five companies respectively.
