The trend of allocation of less amount for development expenditure (capital) as compared to current expenditure and financial arrangements head is no longer a problem. Not being able to spend even half of the budget allocated under the heading of development expenditure was seen as a bigger problem. This trend has been repeated in the budget of the current financial year as well.
