On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index closed with a small increase of 0.47 points. After increasing by 0.01 percent compared to the previous trading day, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,655.85 points.

The NEPSE, which had fallen continuously on the previous two trading days, closed with a slight improvement on Sunday. Among those that came into trading that day, 90 companies' share prices increased while 157 companies decreased. 

On Sunday, 253 million 93 thousand 762 shares were bought and sold in 95 thousand 374 shares. Shares worth 11 billion 44 crore 32 lakh rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount increased and decreased.

Last Thursday, there was a transaction worth 12 billion 51 crore 53 lakh rupees. Among the 13 sub-groups that came into trading on Sunday, the index of development bank, hydropower, production and processing, non-life insurance and business increased. On that day, the index of the rest of the subgroups decreased .
