Although there is a standard of no projects costing less than three crores in the federal government's budget, it has been found that two dozen projects of one lakh rupees each have been kept under the Ministry of Urban Development. In order not to keep piecemeal plans in the budget, the National Planning Commission had implemented the 'National Project Bank Standard 2081' to allocate the budget only for projects worth more than three crore rupees.

The said criteria decided that the piecemeal plan should not be in the Union and should be implemented at the provincial and local levels. In response to this, the federal government has put 24 schemes worth 1 lakh under the Ministry of Urban Development in this year's budget. Many plans of two lakh, two and a half lakh, three lakh have been kept in the budget.

The Ministry, which has plans of around 100,000,000 in the current year, has not spared plans of 100,000,000 for the next financial year as well. Now, the Ministry of Urban Development has decided to set up a budget title and later increase the budget by transferring money to it.

91 billion 35 billion 23 million rupees have been allocated for urban development in the current year, the budget has been increased to 1 trillion 18 billion 34 million 44 million rupees for the next year. Under urban development, 6 thousand 755 programs and plans are included in the budget.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development, Gopal Sigdel, said that there are programs and plans that need to be addressed below 30 million in grants provided by the federal government to the state and local levels. He said, "The union has said that plans below 30 million will not be implemented. This is a program of the federal government, its implementation will be done by the local level, and accordingly it has been addressed in the budget."
