Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ramnath Adhikari has said that food hygiene will be maintained by opening food technology and quality control offices in all 77 districts. Stating that 20 employees have been added to the department this year, the minister has instructed the employees to monitor and regulate the market and test food items.
On the occasion of the World Food Hygiene Day and the 17th National Food Hygiene Day 2082, he also said that food hygiene will be ensured on a scientific basis in a program organized by the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control on Saturday.
