Nepal Telecommunication Authority has announced the cancellation of the license of Cherry World Communication Pvt. Ltd. The authority said that the internet (including e-mail) service license granted to the service provider in Ravibhavanasti, Kathmandu has been automatically revoked.

According to the authority, the permit granted on May 29, 2067 (Permit No. F. J. 1-62) was automatically revoked from May 29, 2082 after no application was received for renewal within the prescribed time period.  According to section 25(5) of the Telecommunications Act, 2053, the license has been revoked in the notice. 

The said company has instructed the authority to submit the amount to be paid/delivered within 30 days and to contact the office. "Otherwise, this notification also informs about the actions to be taken according to the prevailing law," the authority has mentioned.
