The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, closed with an increase of 0.85 points on Tuesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE was positive by 0.03 percent and closed at 2,675.62 points. Last Monday, it closed down by 5.21 points.

Out of those that came into trading on Tuesday, the share price of 85 companies increased while 161 companies decreased  . 1 crore 42 lakh 99 thousand 394 shares were bought and sold in 59 thousand 633 share transactions. A transaction worth 6 billion 52 crore 78 lakh rupees has been made in those purchases.

The transaction amount has also decreased compared to the previous trading day. Shares worth 7.56 billion rupees were traded in the stock market last Monday.

Among the 13 subgroups traded on Tuesday, the indices of finance companies, hotels and tourism, investment, life insurance, microfinance, non-life insurance and others decreased. According to the data of NEPSE, the indices of the remaining banking, development banks, hydropower, production and processing, collective investment funds and business sub-groups have increased.
