Nepal Rastra Bank has become more flexible towards the stock market. Through the third quarter review of the monetary policy of the current financial year released on Sunday, the National Bank has maintained the risk weight on share loans at 100 percent.

Earlier, share loan risk weight was 125 percent. With this decision, banks and financial institutions will have to maintain less risk weight than before, so the credit expansion capacity in this area will increase.
