Newly appointed Governor Vishwa Poudel has made the first decision to prepare the design of the new 1,000 and 50 rate notes.
After taking oath before Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Paudel went to Rashtra Bank and took charge. Governor Poudel has decided to design a new note of one thousand and fifty rates soon after assuming office.
The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday appointed Poudel as the governor. He took the oath at 10:30 am today.
