In the 10 months of the current financial year, the country's trade deficit has reached 12 trillion 56 billion 27 billion rupees. According to the foreign trade data released by the Customs Department on Wednesday, this amount is about 7 percent more than the same period of the last financial year.

In the 10 months of the financial year 2080/81, the trade deficit was 11 trillion 77 billion 18 billion rupees.

From July to April of the current financial year, 14 trillion 74 billion  Goods worth 18 crores have been imported. This amount is 13.11 percent more than the same period of last financial year. In the first 10 months of the last financial year, goods worth 13 trillion 3.35 billion were imported.

Export trade has increased by 73 percent from July to April. According to the data of the department, goods worth 2 trillion 17 billion 91 crores have been exported in 10 months. This amount is 72 in the same period of last financial year. 71 percent more. Goods worth 1 trillion 26 billion 17 crores were exported in 10 months of the last financial year.
