MP Bhattarai's 24-point suggestion to Finance Minister

Yogesh Bhattarai, Member of the House of Representatives and UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has suggested 24 points to Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel along with home district projects. Bhattarai made such suggestions regarding the principles and priorities of the appropriation bill submitted for the financial year 2082/83.

Noting that many of the principles and priorities of the upcoming budget presented by Finance Minister Paudel are good and that there is a challenge to meet unlimited expectations with limited resources and means, the topics range from stopping migration to educational reforms.

Since the report presented by the high-level commission formed under the coordination of former secretary Rameshwar Khanal is fundamentally correct and objective, he has drawn the attention of the minister to implement the suggestions of the report during the preparation of the budget. In the case of his elected district Taplejung, to pave the Tamor Corridor to the Tibet border to Tiptala, to pave the Madan Bhandari road from Tehthum's Basantapar to Taplejung, to advance the Kaveli Corridor road project, to allocate budget for the Suketar-Thiva road under the Mechi highway, to pave the roads from major highways to the municipal centers, to proceed with the Kechna-Kanchenjunga road construction work. Attention has been drawn to focus on work.

He also drew attention to take initiatives for foreign market management by giving special priority to cardamom, tea, coffee, Akbare khursani, Churpi, rudraksha, herbs, plywood which can be exported from Koshi province.
