Mundum Trail, which is in the list of 100 destinations, has been developed as 'Greater Mundum Trail'. From Saptakoshi's Chatra through Khuwalung to Mount Everest, it has been developed as the Greater Mundum Trail. According to the Centre, Saptakoshi's Chatra, via Khuwalung, Bhojpur's Hatuvagadhi, Golme Pahara, Nag Chhanga, Kapase Bhanjang, Lower Mundum Trail to Tawa Bhanjang, Tawa Bhanjang to Tamkedanda Haspokhri via Salpa Silichung The Greater Mundum Trail has been developed by dividing it into three segments, Mundum Trail up to Mahakulung Bung and Upper Mundum Trail from Cheskam to Everest Base Camp.
The Greater Mundum Trail is useful because it can be reached from the sea level to the highest peak in the world in the shortest distance, said Ramesh Kumar Rai, president of the center. "The Greater Mundum Trail has been divided into three sections, the plains, the mountains and the mountains," Rai said. Rai says that it is the choice of tourists from all over the world because the trail can be experienced naturally and geographically from the hot air of the plain land of the Terai to the cold breeze of the mountain peak.

Besides Khomading Valley, Hungyo Valley, the world's highest trekking pass Sherpenkol Pass, Amalapcha Pass, Merala Pass, Sankhuwasir Pass, Migela Pass and many other passes are under the Greater Mundum Trail.

Rai said that the trail will take about 23 days starting from Chatra Khuwalung and reaching Mount Everest. Rai said that the Swiss government is investing for the development of the Greater Mundum Trail from Chatra to Salpa Silichung. Rai said that he would also request the Swiss government for the Upper Greater Mundum Trail.
